Content Pane

DolphinRTK Help's main area—the one in which you are reading these words—is the content pane. When you open any topic, it is displayed here. In addition to explanations of DolphinRTK features, topics in the content pane often include hyperlinks, which appear in underlined blue text. Click any hyperlink to open its linked topic.

Many topics in the content pane also include step-by-step procedures showing how to perform operations in DolphinRTK. Every procedure begins with a book icon:

Every procedure also tells you exactly where in DolphinRTK to begin the procedure (example: the Product Search page). If you don't know how to reach the starting point, click the How do I get there? link provided.

Three blue stars mark the end of every procedure:

Navigation Pane

The area to the left is the navigation pane. By default it shows DolphinRTK Help's table of contents ("TOC"), but it can show other navigation tools as well. At the bottom of the navigation pane, click any of the buttons to open the corresponding tool:

TOC (Table of Contents)

The table of contents is an organized tree containing every available topic in DolphinRTK Help. Each item in the table of contents is one of the following:

A group of topics. Click this item to open it () and see the topics it contains.

An individual topic. Click this item to open the topic in the content pane.

Index

Click any index entry to open the relevant topic. If you click an entry that points to more than one topic, it shows a menu of those topics; click the topic you want to open.

To search the index for a certain term, enter the term in the search field above the index.

Search

This tool lets you search DolphinRTK Help for specific words and phrases. Enter a word or phrase and click the Search button to see a list of topics containing the word or phrase. Click a topic in the list to open that topic in the content pane; your word or phrase is highlighted in the topic's text (until you click the Remove Search Highlighting icon in DolphinRTK Help's toolbar; see Toolbar below).

If a search gives you useful results, you can save that search to easily repeat it in future. Click the Add Search String to Favorites icon to save a search to your favorites (see below).

Glossary

This is an alphabetical list of DolphinRTK terms. Scroll through the list and click any term to open its definition. Click the term again to close its definition.
